JT Money was recently on the Murder Master Music Show where he was asked about the line from his 1992 song All They Good 4, where he says:

"All They Good 4" was released by JT's group Poison Clan in 1992. It was on the same album as Poison Clan's biggest hit song "Shake Whatcha Mama Gave Ya!"

A year later, Ice-T put out the song 99 Problems on T's Home Invasion featuring JT's former labelmate Brother Marquis of the 2 Live Crew. Ice T gave Poison Clam credit on that song.

Then in 2003, Jay-z dropped the song and video for 99 Problems off the Black Album. Unfortunately for JT, he didn't get any credit from Jigga for coming up with the line 11 years prior to it becoming a huge platinum success by Jay.

Back in 2018, a federal appeals court awarded a victory to Jay-Z in a copyright infringement lawsuit claiming that the rapper sampled without permission from an Egyptian composer’s song for his 1999 hit “Big Pimpin’.”

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Pasadena, California ruled 3-0 that the nephew of the late composer Baligh Hamdy did not have legal standing to pursue copyright claims over his uncle’s 1957 song “Khosara Khosara.”

Circuit Judge Carlos Bea said the nephew, Osama Ahmed Fahmy, could not sue Jay-Z and hip-hop producer Timbaland solely because Egyptian law recognized an “inalienable moral right” of authors to object to improper uses of copyrighted works.
